RIP, Robert Rauschenberg (1925 – 2008)

One of my greater influences in the art of collage and assemblage, Robert Rauschenberg, has passed away from heart failure at the age of 82. An artist who never retired, who never shyed away from trying new mediums, and one who’s impact on contemporary art, especially in mixed media, will not soon be forgotten.

Unfettered Curiousity was your gift to the w3rld.

This one’s for you Bob.. (Raises glass)

Sincerely – gaR Bailey
