Children of the Earth.. The Time has Come!
The innaugural night of the monthly event that I’m going to be curating, booking, hosting, etc at Caffe DaVinci starts this Friday. -And I’ve got some special performances to kick this thing off with an O-riginal BANG!
Avant GARism at DaVinci is dedicated to showcasing our area’s thriving underbelly of uber-talented, contemporary artists. -Musicians, Video Artists, Performers, Poets, Pipers, Prophets, etc. This’ll hopefully be the first of many successful nights of eclectic and eccentric performances to come. Big thanx to one of Central Fl’s most chillax’d, intimate venues for helping to facilitate this gathering of fertile hearts and minds.
PAN DOS – Sanford, FL
-Pan Dos is one of my favorite A/V artists in any area, much less our own. His brand of melodic, glitch-hop booty is cohesively abstracted just enough to wiggle yer brain, yer ears, yer eyes, and yer ass all at the same time. And the best part is he runs it all through multiple VCRs and TVs for the full-on cerebral, ocular, auditory experience. Do not miss this artist! He is what Avant GARism at DaVinci is all about.
alGARhythm – Osteen, FL
-alGARhythm is a shamanic fig as an embodiment of sound and sight. Using an assortment of instruments, drum machines, synths, samplers, tapes, toys, TVs, etc to explore the human condition. Existential rhythm aRt melody machine performance Man.
Cop City Cold Chillers ChillPillars- Deland?, FL
-Unfortunately due circumstances out of their control, “CoP City ChillPillars” have had to cancel their performance with us on Nov. 9th. Look for them at a future event though. And don’t fret.. that just means a little more PAN/DOS & alGARhythMANism for ya’s!
